Meet us at RHS Wentworth Woodhouse, Yorkshire 16-20th July 2025

The Farewell Flowers Directory connects you with independent funeral florists who can provide plastic-free funeral flowers when you need them. Learn more about how we work from conversations to translate stories and ideas into beautifully personal farewell flowers, made with sustainability in mind.

Let’s change the world of funeral flowers, one arrangement at a time

  • Featherstone's English Flower Company display a shareable casket spray made of bouquets displayed in meadow with rolling countryside behind. Proving that funeral flowers are beautiful and can have an afterlife beyond the service.

    See flower & foliage list

All the flowers used in our Wentworth Woodhouse display were grown here in Yorkshire and the North East by members of both The Farewell Flowers Directory and of Flowers From The Farm.

  • A line drawing depicting the church yard scene designed for the Farewell Flowers Directory exhbit at Chelsea Flower SHow 2025

    Our inspiration

Inspired by the Dales and uplands of Yorkshire and the North East, we’ve recreated a country graveyard with sustainable flowers laid beside every headstone.

  • Yellow labels printed with conversation starters for RHS Chelsea Flower Show say "I'd like my funeral to be..."

    Starting conversations

We want our display to spark discussions about what funeral flowers and funerals can be. Such chats are key to creating funerals that reflect real people and the things that they loved in life.
